Globalization and climate change. AI and VR. Fuckface Von Clownstick and the Flat Earthers. The world is changing so fast that we can't get a grip on how we got here, let alone where we're headed. This is your weekly podcast for a world in flux. Join Ben Charland to peel back the headlines and ask, what are the forces, people and ideas that shape the human story today? Have things always been this nuts, or are they getting crazier by the day? Just what on Earth is going on?

People don't just get their news, entertainment and friend fixes from social media. In the digital age, there are whole universes in which to learn, shop, explore, broadcast, develop tastes and be creative -- to influence and be influenced. There is enormous space not just for individuals and enterprises to grow, but for whole new forms of business. What's happening in this brave new world?

Ben has a fun, unplifting chat with Kingston-based influencer and serial entrepreneur, Claire Bouvier.

About the Guest

One of Claire's newest project is a TV show. In the summer of 2018, Claire was approached by Bell Canada - Bell Fibe TV1 to create a TV Show for 2.8 million Canadians!

The TV Show is called FEiST-Y. It's about a young female entrepreneur that travels through her town interviewing other interesting entrepreneurial characters. Through her conversations she learns how they have struggled and succeeded by selling hot dog carts, winning the Olympic silver medal, becoming top 10 on the country music charts and selling out beer festivals.
